The 80-20 rule that I'm sure everybody has heard of, if we apply that to exercise and health. If we were to look at our total ability to train, to push our body, maybe even in our current capacity, we can enjoy up to 80%, he says. There is actually research to support this, especially as it relates to strength training and resistance training. "Of all the possible health benefits that we could enjoy from exercise, maybe even most of them we can actually enjoy with just 20% of our capacity for effort," John adds.
