The Thought Ladder Is a Tool for Developing Neutral Thoughts
Most of us cannot jump from i am a bad person to i'm worthy no matter what I do. The thought ladder is a tool for helping you develop neutral or baby step thoughts. It's a new thought you want to practise believing, even though it may not be the ultimate thought that you want to have forever. So at the bottom of the ladder, you put your current thought; one thought per ladder. At the top of the ladder,. you put your goal thought: You don't believe this thought yet, that's why it goes at the top as the goal thought.
