Don't Hire the Generalist, Hire the Specialist

Don't try to hire a person who seems like they can do absolutely everything, but that you should try to hire the specialized person instead. They also recommend that when somebody accepts a job offer, you send them what they call a meaningful gift. And one of those meaningful gifts consists of flowers, balloons, or a gift certificate. I don't think they're meaningful. I think they're pretty meaning less. A gift certificate by your own gift. Yeah. That was for me. The book highlighted in a few points and we will almost certainly never touch on it again. Ever.
