The Dried, Ashy Land
You find your feet getting stuck occasionally and pull your boots free, the loud sucking sound that kind of echoes out a little bit from your quiet selves. Continuing westward, eventually you begin to see the dried, ashy land occasionally and begin to break up with what looks like an ash march. There are pockets of mud, like a dark gray in some ways, almost a purplish mud that begins to fill some of the small valleys and dips in the hilly landscape of the valley. But you do notice that this patch that you're passing through, you're not sure how long it's going to last,. It's going to be a little harder to stay quiet and a little harder
