The Importance of Relationship With His Stepsons
I was thinking about it from a potentially career perspective. I don't know that his relationship with his wife would be important enough for him to take on that kind of personal risk. And the distinction between the stepson and the wife, I don't think it's consistent to say that he has a deep and meaningful authentic connection with her and yet cannot relate to his stepson in that way.
