How to Be a Successful Coffee Roaster
I started roasting out of his garage first of all. And then just grew it from there. So that was really a backyard hobby. He decided he wanted, he fell in love with just making coffee and decided he wanted to compete and then in coffee competitions. I used to rock up on two hours sleep, still drunk, you know, and pump out coffees. That's where I really learnt what proper professional hospitality is about. It wasn't about who I was and my personality. It was about how effectively do I execute my job for their brand. This inspired me and realised, okay, this is something I want to do seriously.
