How to Track Mouse Moves on the Web Page?

It's super easy to track mouse movement at a lesser scale today. And it's very, very difficult to opt out. So one option we could have there are existing ad blocking software. I imagine there could be some sort of plug in that blocked my mouse position from being read and only the click would be registered. Is that a level of privacy you think consumers should be considering using?
