The Accident in the Airbus A380
Pilot in the right seat put his hand on his control stick, a little joystick-like thing to his right. He did not tell the other pilot in the cockpit what he had just done. In an airbus, the two pilots have separate control sticks that move independently of each other. This design variation may also have contributed to what was about to become a very bad situation.
