Sally Kohn: I don't want to pretend that grade inflation isn't a thing. She says some instructors are afraid of not giving high enough grades to their students. Kohn: But artificial scarcity can be used for good, like when libraries set due dates on books. "It makes sure that the mission of the library can actually be achieved," she says.
