There is a lot of evidence that top runners are running twice a day generally speaking. I think we have maybe a tendency to overemphasize and overestimate the long run, but also maybe even long runs in general. And then when you get, especially if you're not training for a specific race and then you can only, you can be lucked long runs where you have to go long,. But you don't necessarily need to do too long, long runs or too many long runs.
