inner child work isn't for everybody but in this case I think maybe the visualizations the closing your eyes like the way that they're going about it is not helpful. journaling to and from a younger you can be helpful having a photo of yourself at that age can be helpful. If anybody's interested in doing inner child work I have workshop available on my website  I put a lot of effort into those four hours of live streaming and questions which will hopefully help also downloadable worksheets and homework all sorts of stuff.
