Sene - The Story of the Day
The film was shot in al maria, an area famous for its pargetty and mediaeval rituals. During the shoot there was a strike which meant they lost two days of filming. There were no storyboards or pre-determined shots to work with - you just had to discover it on the day. The actress who played Abu is very good at recognizing what her strength is before she goes into action.
