The Importance of Appetite in Recovery

It takes up to 72 hours for our bodies to catch up after hard, hard training. It is common to feel hungry three days after you've done a hard session. But again, I think people get worried about that and don't feel that that's appropriate. And so then they ignore it. That's where you start blunting your appetite response. Sometimes actually you have to listen a little bit more because what you've done in the first instance may be great but probably your body's still trying to catch up.
