The Benefits of a Plant-Based Diet
There's enormous, enormous benefits from a plant-based diet. The issue sometimes for vegetarians is getting the essential fatty acids and essential amino acids. I'm not aware of any detrimental effects to athletic performance as long as they're educated on combining certain non-complete protein sources. A ketogenic diet is probably taking in less calories than you did working out before.
