The American Left Is Not Good Enough, Is It?

i was involved in the labor movement and student activism. i'm just saying that it's better now. And i think that our criticisms of the left, sort of, like self satisfaction and comfort with being marginal, is really no longer as animating like the american left gras i even ten years ago. Well, maybe we can just say that, you know, a. first rate mind is the ability to hold two contradictory things in tention and still function.
