The Contact Points Exercise
The first action that I took from this book is called the contact points exercise. And it's all about your personal signals of stress. So sit on a chair and you need to be grounded. Think about a situation you find stressful and then assess your body. Are you breathing faster as your heart beating? You know, are you scrunching up your hands? Like where are you feeling it? When I reflected on the situation, I really felt it in my chest. But when I think back to when they were really bad, that is probably the most stressful time I've had in my life in last 10 years.
