The ultimate determiner of pace is your effort. When we're telling you to run a certain pace, that isn'ti basically ametric. It's just really a proxy for trying to get them into the right effort zone in order to achieve a physiological benefit. And so sometimes you have to give your grace around pace in order to be at the right place from an effort standpoint.
