How to Stay Consistent in Your Training Cycle

If I don't achieve this goal, my world is ended, right? Then that by nature will skew your focus and motivation in that training cycle to outcome goals. When you zoom all the way out and consider each individual training cycle as being simply one step along the path that you're taking, it is far, far easier to realize that your ultimate goals are more intrinsically motivated than extrinsic ones. That makes a huge difference in trying to cultivate that self-discipline.
