i think the single biggest misunderstanding about black food is its diversity. There hasn't been enough story telling and content shared about a black excellence. I want, if you acknowledge the authorship, it's very away you see that black experience has contributed so much to american food. And not only are there recipes as well, but you do have little tidbits about, for example, where some of the spices or where some of the foods come from too.
