Unstoppable Learning
I've got my hands on an a draft copy of Chris Bolton's forthcoming book, Unstoppable Learning. It's this idea that you present an example and then you physically rub out what, and you show the kids the answer. And it's using variation theory in a really powerful way because we ascertain meaning from a background of sameness. We're changing one critical thing and we're observing the output that that has. So I'll go through maybe four or five of these examples before I then step in and explicitly explain and draw kids attention.
