There's a lot of biotics out there and I feel like we're losing our handle on what anything means anymore. Freebiotic are substrates, that's the closest thing to food that bacteria in your gut already use. My general thinking on freebiotics is that if you eat a diverse rich diet, you do not need freebiotics. polyphenols are very interesting because it's very hard to get high amounts of polyphenols unless you're drinking five, six, seven glasses of, let's say like a tea.
