The Importance of Making Art
In 2009 2008 I lost all the resources and money through a made-off type scandal my whole life fell apart but so at the end of that I realized that well there's no way I have enough time to do all those illustrations and save up all that money again. So I had about six months worth of money I rented a studio which was terrifying because I didn't have the resources to do it and I started making art. The illustration market had dried up because of the economy so I started to make paintings which I'd always done, figured that you know maybe if I made a really good they could sort of sell some of these things. And what happened was the work started to shift
