The Percolating Vulnerable Cluster
If enough early adopters catch on to something and they have neighbors who are similar and threshold level to them and they flip over, then they become as a unit very influential. They call it a percolating vulnerable cluster - everyone's thresholds are just the right spot. And that group is always popping in and out of existence like it's like fireflies blinking in the network. That persistence often leads to that lucky strike that will lead to a massive cascade of change.
