The metaphors we use to make sense of the world end up transforming our own self understanding. I was interested in how those metaphors start off as being sort of loose analogies and maybe thinking about how our minds work. And now the metaphors become so entrenched, this was the metaphor that gave birth to both cognitive science and artificial intelligence. So it's really at the root of a lot of our understanding,. both of the minds and of, you know, the artificial minds that we're trying to build.
