Use the modality of exercise that you're planning to spend the most time in. If you are a hiker, you should do it at a fast walking pace. if you are a runner, it should be running. You really need to do a chest heart rate monitor. It doesn't work with the wrist-based heart rate. Next week, we will take on another aspect of training in mountaineering.
