The Power of Grinding

The ability to grind is like the endurance athletes best friend and worst nightmare. It can completely blow you up, push you over the edge and really make you take a step backwards. So I think for me in college, like I could not have handled the pressure of being a full time athlete. In 2017, I took the spring off and started working with a new coach. And that was when I went from training 15 hours a week to like 20 hours a week  and made these big jumps That allowed me to take on productively and to kind of like manage my own load in a way that I couldn't have done early in college.
