In the 18 hundreds, cider was the most popular beverage in the us. The ancestor of that can be traced back to the tenshan mountain range. People and animals started to pick up these apples and take em along the way. They'd eat and they'd poop, and edwards, pips would go on the ground. If you planted a pip from granni smith into the ground, the apple variety that will pop up will be guaranteed to not begranni smith.
