The internet is a wash with self-improvement and self-help advice. Yet, it's also a wash with people who obviously have anger management problems. And weirdly, they overlap. A lot of the people with the worst anger management problems are the ones that bang on the most about self-improving advice. This is the wrong advice that they're getting. So although the internet is awash with self-help, hardly any of it addresses a problem of anger.
This is the audio of an interview I gave recently for Book Club with Kaiden Kelly, talking about How to Think Like a Roman Emperor, Verissimus, and Stoicism, self-help and modern psychology.
