How to Break a Bad Habit

For each of these we mention the four stages, cue, craving, response, reward. And for each of them, i've come up with what i call a law of behavior change. The easier it is that they catch your attention, the more likely you'll fall into the habit. To break a bad habit, you just invert each of the four laws. So rather than making the cues of your bad habits obvious, you want to make them invisible,. Make it unattractive. Make it difficult, make it unsatisfying. A and f you can re structure your physical environment or your digital environment then you're more likely to actually stick with the right habit.
