I think like the term inflammation is often used in the context of nutrition a lot lately online. I think people don't fully understand it and are reaching with some of the claims. We do know that if you replace saturated fat with polyunsaturated fat, you get a decrease in LDL cholesterol. The biggest source of calories, the increase in calories, I believe in the last 15 years is from added oils. So we are consuming more of those oils and it's contributing to our overall energy toxicity.
