The Rise and Fall of Flowers for Dreams
Stephen Dime and his co-founder launched Flowers for Dreams in 2012. They're an online florist with operations in Chicago and Milwaukee. The company is a benefit corporation, or B Corp, which means it's certified as meeting certain standards around its social and environmental impact. It donates a quarter of its profits to a local organization that changes every month.
