I started training parkour in nature and I didn't know what kind of trees I was in. It turns out that western cedars will crown, they will send out tree branches right at their roots if they have lots of light around them. And then you learn, okay, it's not just about the tree, the type of tree, but the species of tree, it's about where the tree lives. That was all fascinating to me.
