The Stoic Ethics of Epictetus

Stoics will argue that, am, it's natural and so right and proper for us to have a certain affinity for other human beings in general. And then we can, if youk, soften the perspective, if we read him in context. Ad from a peard by hieracles is another stoic text which isn't like our three roman stoic authors but tells of something interesting as well. It tells us that stoics in this period were still continuing that tradition of writing theoretical philosophical texts.
