When you have something that's very sacred and therefore you prioritize it, you increase the quantity of it and then you make the marginal value go down. An analogy might be, say, religion. You can spend years getting ready for it and remember it year after year afterwards. And if that same person just like has a website or 800 number and you can just call them at any time, in some sense, you could justify that by saying, well, this is so important.
