The Importance of Weight Management in Relationships

When you're engaging with somebody who weighs that much more than you, you always have to be cognizant of where their weight is going. If your partner outweighs you by 100 pounds and they decide to put their chest on your chest while you have single leg X guard, your knee just makes a whole bunch of popping noises. And there's nothing you can do about that because you don't have muscles to reinforce that. So I changed the way I played single leg XGuard, started playing it with my toes pointed straight up and my heel digging down into the hip. That means if my opponent smashes back down, my knee moves in its normal direction within its normal range of motion
