And likewise, when we're feeling really alert, you know, and we're practising well and were being attentive, it's to recognize that we are serving others, that we become the inspiration for others, then, no, it really brings to life this whole idea that our practice is not for ourselves alone. What does profitable talk mean in a context of silence? Well, there are times when you now, just a little reading can be helpful. And this doesn means six hours with a book, but just do no, just having a little hit of 15 or 20 minutes of reading the dama can be inspiring. You know, ere listening to a tape. No, how can we engage it so it actually becomes food for our awakening, rather than just sinking into it as a hindrance? Mogolana, who was the chief disciple, an one of the two chief disciples of the buddha, he became fully enlightened after one week of practice. But he struggled in that weekn he was sitting in the forest. And it said that his mind shrank and became withered, non unworkable. And the buddha came to know this, not as to his power of mind. And so the buddha appeared spontaneously to magolana, and he said, mogolana, are you drowsy? And magolana replied, yes, sir, i am nodding. And buddha said, listen, i will teach you ways for overcoming it. And then he gave many of the things we discussed to night. And the last thing he said. And if none of these work, take rest. And so we try all as we engage with all of these ways of working.
