High intensity intervals are always billed as being some period of all out followed by some period of entirely rest so obviously if you're gonna be doing jumping jacks that's it that could. Cycling has had a great advantage for a very long time with the invention of the power meter because we've actually been able to see the entire physiologic spectrum of an athlete where in other sports they're only just now starting to get power meters like there's power meters for running there for rowing.
