The Chinese Economy Is in a Divergent Place
The youth unemployment rate in China is very high. According to official stats, 16 to 24 year old unemployment rate is currently at 20%. That's doubling from in 2019 of 10%. We did some analysis and it seems that there are both cyclical and structural factors behind rising youth unemployment rate.
