The Effects of Load Reduction Instruction on Student Academic Development

The study was a multi-level study and so we were able to test these at the individual student level but also tested at the classroom level. We found that there was significant variation in teacher's use of load reduction instruction from class to class. The effects of using it or not using it had significant consequences for students' academic development.
