How Did You Become a Level Designer?
I was initially trained as a level designer in graduate school. The more transparent I've tried to make games, the more satisfaction I've seen from players. Education was a structure that really helped me make the most of that year and a half. If I'd been left up to my own devices, just doing it as a hobby, I think it might have taken me six or eight years to build a portfolio of a similar quality.
