How Do We Cultivate Emotional Maturity?

How do we begin to cultivate emotional maturity? We're going to break this down into three steps. The first step is being the observer, witnessing our body and it's ever changing sensations. Step two is helping your body return to homeostasis by soothing or essentially by finding ways to calm after a stressful event. And lastly, learning how to activate your nervous system to bring yourself down to calm if you are stuck in that fight or flight.
