Every year 10,000 cardiac arrests will cause an athlete to die now I'm going on a little bit Hamlin's is a potentially likely different case we don't know this for sure. A blow to the chest can cause cardiac arrest as well because what happens is if that blow is on exactly the right spot it messes up the iron channels in the muscle cells so now the sodium and the potassium that are normally exchanged to conduct the electric signal they don't work anymore.
