The Origins of Coutur

The word coutur generally conjures up notions of exclusivity. Wurst as an officially synced gined coutur house was providing bespoke creations to royal clients and the creme de la creme of international society. As early as 1870, as for Wurst paper patterns can be found in American fashion magazines. So, from the get from the very beginning, ocutur has always had this sort of symbiotic relationship with mass produce clothing,. which is something that I think most people don't realize.
