The Genetic Advantage of Blue Barley
The blue coloration of the allurent in some barley comes from an accumulation of ant for cyanin. Some studies have found that anthocyanin accumulation is a response to ultraviolet light or heat stress conditions. It just seems to be kind of a, it's a defect nitpicking thing would be my take on it. If it were blue, Aluron certainly by the time it's getting in the beer, you do not have the blues. But LaBats has used to have a brain. Nothing to do with the alley. Right.
