Bootstrap Founders - Do I Go Premium With My Product?
We had thousands of customers every single month on boarding to our product and using a free version of our soft ware. And we were just spending an enormous amount of time and energy, you know, supporting customers that weren't paying us anything. As a small boot strap team, it became unsustainable. So we said we needed just save our own butts. If we're going to build a viluable business here, we do need to, unfortunately, do away with that premium tier. But making that change brought so much sanity back into our business, gave us so much more time. It doubled our our growth rate pretty much overnight.
