Is There a Difference Between the Center and the Marginalized?

Sally Kohn: You describe society as being organized in these sort of concentric circles with those who are part of the dominant culture at the center. She asks, could you go into a little bit more detail about how that metaphor functions and talk about how it plays into the different perspectives that we adopt? Kohn: Yeah, so just to acknowledge that it's a metaphor, so it's inherently imperfect. And all of the language that we use to try and describe this complexity and the paradox is never going to be enough.
