Creating Rich Performance Based Assessments for Teachers

The Maryland Assessment Consortium had a twofold mission, one to provide professional development to teachers and school leaders on what does it mean to do performance based assessment. And so I worked on that for six years, and it was probably the second most impactful experience, other than my Nirvana summer enrichment program. After 25 years in public education at the school district and state levels, I decided after 25 years to take the plunge and go full time into writing and consulting. But that's the pathway to where I am now. Thank you.
