Are We Calling Managers and Coaches?
We call managers. And we say manage something. We don't call them coaches and leaders to coach your teams, their work with you to be better. For the company as I grew up in, manager is not a dirty word like that. It's like, oh, they're the ones that do all the staffing and coaching. So it doesn't have the connotation that yours does. If that's the connotation, for example, in New Zealand and Australia, then you either have to find a way to rehabilitate that concept or maybe rebranding is in order.
