The Importance of Information Management in Post-1949 Japan
Dr. Lu is currently working on a project that examines information exchange among family members, friends and state functionaries across political borders during second-cycle Japanese reward. I would like to examine how commoners and Chinese government entities may think contact with individuals and institutions behind enemy lines. And so I feel that by answering those questions, I was able to highlight people's evolving sense of who they were in relation to family, local community members, state and nation.
