Of these four cards, if there is an e on one side of a card, then there is a two on the other side. Turning over the k or the two will reveal nothing that's going to help you. Confirmation often tells you very little, and in the worst cases, it seems to solidify a lot of incorrect assumptions. If we're bad at simple logic, you can imagine how bad we might be at much more complex things.
